Job Description - Online Customer Service Officer

Job Description:


We are looking for a reliable and confident Online Customer Service Officer to join our team at Seplat Petroleum Development in Ibadan, Nigeria. As an Associate Level position with at least 2 years of experience, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through our online platforms.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries through our online channels such as email, chat, and social media. 2. Resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. 3. Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability. 4. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies. 8. Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team members.


Requirements: 1. 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure. 4. Persuasive and able to handle difficult situations with tact. 5. Proficient in using online customer service platforms and tools. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
