Job Description - InflowControl

InflowControl is seeking a problem-solving Mechanical Engineer with a flexible mindset to join our Engineering team.

We are looking for someone who thrives in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment who values both cross-department teamwork and independent work. You are structured, self-driven, flexible, solution-oriented and proactive in addressing problems and challenges.

With us, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with partners and oversee suppliers at a technical level to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Create and refine 3D designs and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
  • Support manufacturing and business development department with technical expertise
  • Design tools for manufacturing and ensure designs are production-ready, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., welding, machining)
  • Work closely with business development to ensure customers receive the best-suited solutions
  • Adhere to company and industry standards in all design work
  • Visit suppliers or partners as needed to ensure proper implementation of designs
  • Address and resolve challenging customer requests for customized solutions

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Engineering, or a similar field
  • Is skilled in using 3D design tools and FEA (such as SolidWorks)
  • Understands manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and material selection and can create detailed technical drawings for manufacturing
  • Has experience with procedures, standards, and documentation (preferred) and approaches tasks methodically and with structure
  • Has knowledge of fluid mechanics and process design (beneficial)
  • Lives by the values: Passion, collaboration, integrity, and agility
  • Is curious, proactive and responsibility within their field
  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines
