EIP is seeking an Investor for the Investment team in Europe. This Investor will work closely with the equity investment team and assist in all phases of the investment process. This position is based in Norway.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Identifying attractive investment themes and sourcing/screening prospective investments opportunities
- Conducting extensive due diligence on potential investments, including in-depth financial modeling
- Researching key market trends and dynamics
- Developing internal investment committee presentation materials
- Providing ongoing portfolio support, monitoring, analysis, and administration
- Being point person for EIP’s Norwegian coalition and fostering the Norwegian climate-tech ecosystem
- Help with firm-wide on key operational activities / events / presentations
- 1-4 years of work experience in a relevant field (e.g. investment banking, corporate finance/transaction services, private equity or venture capital)
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Demonstrated passion for ClimaTech, energy, utilities, sustainability, or a similar field
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- History of strong academic performance
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude, team player, open-minded and not ego-driven
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Norwegian language skills
