Our Business Support team provides support to the Education and Learning Support teams in Auckland and we regularly work with families, schools and early childhood centres to support their work in the sector.
About this role
If you nurture good working relationships with a wide range of people, have exceptional customer service then this role is for you.
This role is one of two receptionists in the Mt Eden office and no two days will be the same. Answering phones, greeting visitors, managing carparks, ordering stationery and consumables and making sure the reception desk is running smoothly is your key focus.
Reporting to the Support Manager you will never have two days the same. You will take on the role with enthusiasm and your organisation and planning skills will be second to none. The business support team is dedicated and committed to making a difference for every child in NZ, and they do this through supporting the Education and Learning Support teams to do their work in the sector.
About you
You will be professional in your presentation and your approach to your work, and you will be a star administrator with a basic knowledge of accounts. Your calm and professional demeanour will shine through at all times even when things are extremely busy
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Have a valid NZ Work or Residence Visa and/or NZ Citizenship
- Desire to join our team permanently.
- Sense of humour
- A positive can do attitude
- Flexibility and a desire to learn
- A collaborative team approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to calmly and effectively address complex situations
- Attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse group of contacts
- Previous administration experience, good data entry skills,
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
