Ko tō tūranga – your role

Our Data Analyst will take ownership of providing crucial analytical insights that inform the design and execution of activities that acquire new customers and grow existing customer lifetime value (balance of revenue, direct cost, tenure, investment / A&R). This role will be pivotal in providing data analysis and modelling that drives campaigns, delivering an exceptional customer experience across all customer touchpoints. Our Data Analyst will champion a data-driven mind-set and search out and share customer insights that help make “moments of truth” awesome experiences for our customers !

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

• Provide analytical insights that inform the design and execution of activities that contribute to all elements of customer lifecycle – acquisition, retention management, up-sell, cross-sell, migration management, loyalty / reward and customer engagement.
• Be the voice of the customer through their data, ensuring that the right message is received at the right time, through the right channel to the right customer.
• Support optimal outcomes through;
  • Segment analysis and persona identification to inform messaging / tone of voice
  • Statistical modelling / scoring to identify optimal target groups
  • Analysis of campaign outcomes to identify learnings and optimise future activity
• Contribute to the vision of the Data Analytics Chapter and help drive the data literacy of the organisation.

Our Data Analyst will bring a strong customer focus to the role, seeking out customer insights from the data that shapes all activity, delivering a great customer experience that Vodafone can be proud of.

 

Our ideal candidate will have;

 

• Strong experience of Database Languages (i.e SQL)
• Experience in data engineering and integration tools e.g. Alteryx.
• Experience with data visualisation (Power BI).
• Ability to work with several different sources and use tools to integrate the data
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to translate data analysis into relevant insights for marketers, product managers, product owners and other business users.
• Experience with statistical software ( eg R, Python) would be beneficial.
