We are looking to hire a creative HR Administrator (fixed term) to join our growing team at New Zealand Government in Blenheim Marlborough

  • 1.0 FTE / Fixed term for 12 months

Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)Wehave a 12 month, fixed term, full-time position available for a person withexcellent administration skills.

Youwill be the first point of call for HR queries across Nelson Marlborough. Youwill support the HR team by responding to internal and external queries, processingcompliance requirements such as Police check and Annual Practising Certificaterenewals, and entering the data onto our systems.

You will get exposure to avariety of administration tasks within a HR environment.Thisis a full-time role working 80 hours per fortnight, fixed term for 12 monthsbased in Richmond, Nelson.

Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Whois an appropriate applicant?)You will be apositive, enthusiastic and forward thinking administrator looking for anopportunity to grow and develop in the People and Communications space.

Youwill be computer savvy, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Mostimportantly, you are a flexible team player with a great sense of humour.

Weare ideally looking for someone who possesses these skills and experience :

  • Excellent administration skills and accuracy
  • Excellent organisation, communication skills and attention todetail
  • High level customer service and a desire to promote best practice
  • Adaptable to change and a flexible - can do - attitude
  • A strong work ethic
  • Preferred experience with Human Resources administration and relatedsystems
  • Experience in the health sector may be helpful but not necessary. This role would be best suited to anindividual who thrives in a busy environment, can remain calm under pressureand enjoys being a supportive team player.
