  • About the role

    The Service Delivery Specialist (Policy) is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of IT applications within a portfolio, working under a Service Delivery Manager. They collaborate with both internal and external run teams using SIAM and ITIL processes to transition teams to the Momentum way of working. This role provides expertise and guidance to operational teams and ensures service management processes meet the technical and business needs of the portfolio.

    The Service Delivery Specialist facilitates Service Management processes across multiple technology teams and ensures adherence to best practices. Additionally, this role will support the main Insurance Policy Administration System, specifically focusing on the Protect application and its transformation journey to the new SaaS Policy Admin System, Duck Creek.

    What you'll do

  • Responsible for providing the subject matter expertise that is required to ensure Policy Platform Systems are being operated optimally
  • Design and establish operating model for RUN operations as part of the Policy Platform transformational programme
  • Conduct Technical impact assessments on Policy platform
  • Engage business and technical stakeholders for priority incidents and manage communications
  • Take part in on-call roster for critical production issues related to Policy platform
  • What you'll bring 

  • Minimum 5 Years experience in technical support for Insurance Policy Administration Systems either on premise or SaaS products
  • Experience in establishing IT RUN Operating model for critical business functions 
  • Good knowledge and experience of ITSM and IT Operations
  • ITIL version 3 or 4 certification is well regarded
  • Familiarity with service management processes such as Incident, Change, Problem, Config, Request, Availability, Capacity, Event, Release, and Knowledge
