Therole is varied, encompassing rotations throughoutclinical areas across the Te Whatu Ora hospital sites in Christchurch:Christchurch Hospital, Burwood Hospital and Hillmorton Hospital. As a tertiary health care provider there aremany opportunities for exposure to specialist areas of work such aschemotherapy supply, oncology, paediatrics and mental health.
Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha prides itself on supporting and developing ourPharmacists to help you reach your potential. This position has plenty ofchallenging opportunities and innovation is encouraged by peers, senior staffand management. The department provides regular continuing education andnumerous other training opportunities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic pharmacist, with a good work ethic, who enjoys working as part of a team, has excellent interpersonal skills and a strongdesire to learn. Hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory. If you are considering a switch to hospital and have a willingness tolearn, you will find you are well supported with your transition.
