Accounts Payable Specialist (SHANGHAI, CHINA) - Incl. Accommodation, Healthcare & Travel

Position: Accounts Payable Specialist (URGENT HIRING)

Location: Shanghai, China

Salary: P47,000 - 72,000 / month 

FREE: Accommodation / Work Permit / Healthcare / Travel

MUST Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree (Accounting, Finance etc.)

2. Minimum 2 years experience in accounts payable, accounting or finance 

3. Fluent in English

Responsibilities:

• Timely review vendor invoices, obtain approvals as required
• Timely and accurately voucher all invoices into the Accounting system - proper matching, coding and
• distribution to expenses, prepaid schedule or other capitalization schedule
• Match payment advice with documentation prior to check run
• Timely and accurate payment of approved invoices and AMEX corporate card
• Directly responsible for Finance approval of expense reimbursements through Nexonia
• Respond to all Accounts Payable and Expense Report inquiries
• Maintain all Accounts Payable and Expense Report files
• Audits A/P invoices to ensure no duplicate payments were made
• Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments
• Perform monthly reconciliations of expenses, vendor bills, and Accounts Payable and Prepaid sub-ledger to GL
• Directly responsible for AMEX corporate card reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls
• Assist with the monthly close process
• Compile documentation for audit review
• Prepare 1099’s
• Special projects as required

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in accounting preferred
• Hands on experience with Accounts Payable processing preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to organize and maintain attention to details without compromising efficiency
• Ability to make decisions, problem solve, and work independently
• Ability to keep organized records and good documentation skills
• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
