Collection Specialist

Position: Collection Specialist (URGENT HIRING)

Location: Remote Working

Salary: P18,000 - 30,000 / month 

This position at Shangli Information Technology (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd.’s sister company , a new entity to be established in the Philippines that is managed by Shangli , the Salary.com Asia-pacific headquarters. (Before the establishment of the Philippine subsidiary, your remote work was managed by the Shanghai subsidiary.)

About the Role…

Salary.com is competitively positioned as a leading enterprise resource for compensation data, software, consulting and education. As Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for collection activities as necessary to successfully resolve outstanding receivables. This position is also responsible for resolving customer billing issues, reducing DSO, and improving cash flow. The ideal candidate must be creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency; highly committed to quality, customer service, sense of urgency, teamwork and supporting company and department goals in a fast-paced high volume environment.

Responsibilities: 

• Collect, manage and provide resolution of outstanding invoices on past due accounts primarily through emails and phone calls
• Review accounts daily utilizing weekly generated aging report to properly prioritize account management while maintaining accurate and complete account collection notes
• Work collaboratively within Finance, Support and Sales groups to resolve issues as they arise
• Respond to customer inquiries via telephone communication and email in an efficient and effective manner; providing backup documentation as needed to facilitate payments
• Research account short payments, disputes, other discrepancies as needed
• Effectively manage a high volume of outgoing and incoming phone calls and emails
• Make recommendations for account suspensions
• Assist with the creation and maintaining of a comprehensive Collection program including enhancing processes and controls
• Maintain professional interaction with Salary.com personnel and customers at all times
• Cross-train to perform other related duties as needed to assist in the management of customer accounts, Billing and Collections

Requirements

About You….

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Collections experience in a professional environment, in the Collections field or in a related field with general knowledge of collections
• Experience with a large customer base in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively with others as well as independently; demonstrating initiative and ownership
• Results orientated, well-developed sense of urgency and follow through
• Clear annunciation and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Salesforce and Sage Intacct experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to make a discretionary decision based on research
• Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
