Duties and Responsibilities
- Validates specification of spare part data entries and ensures that these are sufficient and accurate
- Verifies requested items using manufacturers/vendors online catalogues/websites, drawings and manuals before registering in the ERP system
- Register new parts, remove irrelevant or duplicate parts, connect parts to sites and units and reject unauthorized requests
- Facilitate and dispatch cases regarding chemicals, safety equipment and medicines to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) for evaluation
- Perform annual review of the material master, including inactivation of irrelevant parts, review of manufacturers register and change status of existing parts in the material master
- Identify and promote areas for process improvement in cataloguing
- Proactively inform key personnel at the Rig/sites on updates relating to parts and cases
- Coordinates with SCM team lead and/or counterparts regarding concerns and major tasks relating to parts registration
- Adheres to Global Standard procedures, guidelines and templates
- Work with other disciplines and business units to meet customer requirements
- Support key internal stakeholders across the business to ensure operational success
- May perform other related tasks that may be required from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Industrial) or equivalent
- With at least 3 years of experience in spare parts cataloguing or master data management in a shared services industry catering oil and gas clientele with Supply Chain Management is an advantage but not required
- Can coordinate and communicate to internal and external overseas partners and counterparts
- Can work independently and in a cross-functional team
- Has the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast paced environment
- Ability to resolve conflict with integrity, professionalism and demonstrate high degree of confidentiality and negotiation skills within the established operating standards
- Has excellent presentation and interpersonal skills in dealing with customers.

Technical Skills
- Acquired knowledge in spare parts cataloguing or masterdata management
- Has knowledge in analyzing specifications of, or experience in handling spare parts and equipment; familiarity with offshore rig equipment and operations or related industry is an advantage
- Intermediate knowledgeable of codification standards such as NORSOK Z-CR-002 or similar
- Intermediate knowledge of Spare Parts List and Interchangeability Record (SPIR)
- Good knowledge of IT tools and systems within area of responsibility, preferably with advanced knowledge in handling master data in an ERP system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications particularly MS Excel
