Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Coordinate Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
- Deliver superior food quality, service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and appropriately to customer complaints
- Regularly review product quality during the shift, ensuring proper storage of prepared and cooked food
- Manage catering events both in-house and externally, especially during peak

- Manage catering events both in-house and externally, especially during peak periods such as Carnival, July/August vacation, etc.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Manage the restaurant’s solid reputation and suggest ways to improve it
- Control food and beverage costs, operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Complete all reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
Knowledge and Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- Familiarity with restaurant Point-of-Sale and Inventory management software, like Micros, Lightspeed, MarketMan
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Relationships:
- Works closely with the Managing Director, General Manager, franchise owners, restaurant management, shift supervisors, customer service and operations staff
- Interacts regularly with external customers, brand ambassadors, and agencies
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor or similar role
- Full understanding of industry safety standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of basic software, such as Word and Excel
- The ability to meet the physical demands of the job, such as standing up for long hours and lifting heavy loads occasionally
- Working well within a team
- Ability to multitask
- Leadership and conflict-management skills
- High School Diploma; A degree in Hotel Management is a plus
