Job Description
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our revenue generation initiatives and expand our market presence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned hospitality brand, managing key corporate accounts, group bookings, and event sales. Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and lead generation
- Manage and respond to RFPs for group bookings and corporate accounts
- Coordinate with meeting planners and event organizers to secure business opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate clients and travel agencies
- Utilize Lanyon and other sales platforms to maximize booking opportunities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to optimize pricing strategies
- Create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth execution of group events
- Track and report sales performance metrics
- Implement brand standards and sales initiatives
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven sales experience in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated expertise with major hotel brands, particularly upscale properties
- Proficiency in Opera PMS and Lanyon systems or similar
- Strong understanding of group sales and RFP processes
- Experience with meeting broker platforms and event management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Professional demeanor and outstanding customer service orientation
