Job Description - Food And Beverage Supervisor

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Food and Beverage Supervisor at Seda Hotels in Cebu. The supervisor will oversee daily food service operations, uphold service standards, ensure customer satisfaction, and communicate effectively with staff and guests.


Qualifications

  2. Customer Service and Communication skills
  3. Experience in the hospitality industry
  4. Strong leadership abilities and team management
  5. Knowledge of food safety regulations
  6. Excellent problem-solving skills
  7. Availability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning
    Supervising staff
    • Manage, train and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, kitchen staff and other food service personnel.
    • Ensure staff provides excellent customer service and follows policies and health regulations.
  2. Customer Service
    • Oversee guest experience to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues or concerns.
    • Handle VIP guests or special requests providing personalized service when necessary.
  3. Inventory and Stock Control
    • Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and other supplies.
    • Order suppliers and ingredients as needed, ensuring there is minimal wastage and optimal stock levels.
  4. Quality Control
    • Monitor food safety and hygiene practices to comply with health regulations.
  5. Financial Management
    • Ensure proper pricing and monitor sales to meet revenue targets.
  6. Coordination and Communication
    • Communicate with other departments such as housekeeping or events team to facilitate seamless service.
  7. Event and Banquet Management
    • Collaborate with event coordinator to customize menus and ensure timely service.
  8. Leadership and People Management
    • Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a team.
  9. Customer Oriented
    • Ability to anticipate guests needs and offer tailored services.
  10. Organization and Time Management
    • Strong attention to detail in all aspects of the food and beverage operation.
  11. Problem Solving
    • Quick decision making and problem solving skills, especially in challenging unexpected situations.
