Principal Architect

This role is responsible for delivering innovative solutions based on MuleSoft Anypoint API Platform. The primary function of this role is to lead and deliver customer satisfaction through conceptualizing integration solution design, development and testing roles on MuleSoft Anypoint API Platform projects ensuring consistent use of methodologies, development standards with timely delivery execution. You will be provided with training and certification in MuleSoft and work in teams to provide technical solutions to clients all over the world.



Duties and Responsibilities:

Able to perform and fulfill the Principal Architect role, can lead integration programmes of work

Perform project Governance and Oversight role, have the influence, credibility and able to gain respect being the design authority of a project

Contribute to our Intellectual Property, Project Accelerators & Software development practice and assets

Can write and validate Technical Specification and Implementation Document and perform handover to client and colleagues

Facilitate complex discussions, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience working with external clients

Understanding of current technology trends and is a wide reader of effective technology delivery practices

Facilitate code sharing and control by regularly submitting code to concurrent version system repository

Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across our methodologies, IP and internal processes/operations

Willingness to travel globally and be flexible in working hours and location based on our customer’s needs Required Skills:



12+ years of overall IT experience with a bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent

Strategic client communicator and influence through thought leadership on ways of working and best practices

Able to write Implementation Best Practice and govern / audit design deliverables based on quality standards

Can be flexible, at times part of Pre Sales or Delivery team. Translate ambiguity of information from Sales and Functional Roles

Working experience with relevant integration tools such as middleware, ETL / MDM, API Gateway.

Has experience in leading the build of complex software applications with API interfaces using distributed / microservice approach

Working experience in leading the build of direct / custom / bespoke point-to-point integrations

Is tech savvy, have Platform Stack knowledge such as CI/CD and containers. Have basic cloud infrastructure knowledge such as AWS/Azure, Load Balancing and HA

Must have experience with DevOps culture and tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins for CI/CD

Must have knowledge to both Linux and Windows command lines, basic server statistics and networking / routing knowledge

Have expertise in data asset analysis, code restructuring and refactoring, code conversion and business logic extraction into executable business rules

Ability to obtain and probe needed requirements, close language granularity gaps, and drives the communication up to completion

Highly detailed oriented, well organized, strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills

Has very deep experience and exposure to various persistent data sets and SaaS data schema

Have working knowledge on common system endpoint behaviors
