Job Description - Sales Manager

Vissing Agro continues its successful growth on the Philippine market and wishes to expand its activities. We are searching for an ambitious individual to take on the role as Sales Manager in the Philippines with responsibility for sale and marketing of our products and systems for pig production as well as promoting VISSING AGRO/Danish Farm Concept – for further info check www.vissingagro.dk and www.danishfarmconcept.com.  

 

Scope of the position

You will report to Lars Brunse, Global Sales Director of Vissing Agro www.vissingagro.dk. Furthermore, you will work closely with our sister company Danish Farm Design, a consulting company specialized in design, construction and management of pig production – see www.danishfarmdesign.dk.  

 

Your main tasks are as follows:

  • Develop and expand our sales in the Philippines
  • Early-stage spotting of opportunities for new projects.
  • Support key account customers such as Marcela, Biotech and Ekrey
  • Establish a local storage and showroom for our products
  • Plan and organize participation in local exhibitions such “Livestock Philippines”, etc.
  • Daily connection to our partner in DFC group
  • Build up network relationships

The ideal candidate should have home address with internet and phone service for daily communication with Vissing agro. He or she must be prepared to travel around the country (approx. 50% of the time).

 

To be successful, we imagine that you:

·       Have a degree in business, sales or agriculture   

·       Have a minimum of 8 years industry experience selling to Philippine top pig producers.

·       Have a strong network and access to decision makers in the target group

  • Dynamic and outgoing personality  
  • Successful individual with a clear track record of meeting personal KPIs.
  • Accustomed to working with, and achieving, clear and measurable sales targets.
  • Fluency in English (written as well as spoken).
  • Master MS Office and have a general flair for IT.  
  • Are highly business-oriented and competent in negotiating complex commercial contracts.  
  • Can work independently, have a great work capacity and good at creating contacts and long-lasting relationships across organizations and cultures. 
  • Have good cooperation skills, are structured and robust and stay calm and maintain the overview in stressful situations.
