The Company
You Will Work For 

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced CTO / Head of
Software Development to lead and manage our software development team. This company is a forward-thinking, disruptive startup in the
insurance sector, leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver personalized,
efficient insurance solutions. Our mission is to make insurance more
accessible, transparent, and customer-centric with a focus on digital
experience and innovation. 

Your New Role 

• Develop and implement a technology strategy that supports company’s growth and innovation goals.
• Collaborate closely with co-founders and other senior leaders to align tech solutions with business objectives.
• Shape a long-term vision for  technology advancements, keeping the company at the forefront of the  insurtech industry.
• Support our ambitious growth goals by recruiting the best talent to further strengthen our teams;
• Inspire and guide the tech team, promoting a collaborative, high-performance environment.
• Work with the team to identify and mitigate technological risks.
• Lead the development of AI- and ML-based solutions to drive automation, personalization, and predictive analytics in the insurance market.
• Foster an entrepreneurial  culture within the tech team, encouraging experimentation, rapid learning, and constant innovation.
• Actively participate in innovation projects, including partnerships with universities and research centers, integrating cutting-edge academic advances into Company Tech strategy.
• Connect company to innovation ecosystems, startups, conferences and technology events, establishing the company as a leader in insurtech
• Define processes and best practices for agile development and continuous software delivery.
• Oversee system architecture,  ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
• Implement robust security and data protection practices in compliance with industry regulations, such as GDPR

What You Need
To Succeed:  

• Proven experience in technology leadership roles, ideally in startups, scale ups or insurtech.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, information security, and best engineering practices.
• Deep knowledge of artificial intelligence and software engineering
• Strong background in participating or leading academic research or innovation projects.
• Ability to develop and execute a strategic technology vision aligned with business objectives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage uncertainties and foster a culture of innovation

Technology Stack:

• Python, PostgreSQL, React, React Native, Google Cloud, Ruby on Rails
• Implementation of GCP, Google GEN AI, among others;
• Building your own language model (LLModel).
