Are you an experienced backend developer looking to make a significant impact?
As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing our core backend systems and data operations. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you’ll build and optimize backend services that drive our digital platforms. Your work will ensure our infrastructure is scalable, efficient, and reliable, allowing us to deliver exceptional experiences to our users.
- Develop and optimize backend systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability for our websites and applications;
- Integrate and manage data across various platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity;
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend operations and system performance;
- Support the definition and implementation of new projects, collaborating closely with stakeholders to meet business objectives;
- Conduct code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency;
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or PHP, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of backend development practices, including API design, data integration, and system architecture;
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
