Job Title: Backend & Microservices Developer (Java)

Location: Remote - Portugal

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Backend & Microservices Developer to join our partner, a leader in the Telecommunications sector, and contribute to the creation of advanced applications. This is an opportunity to work with modern technologies in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure Java applications.

- Build robust microservices using the SpringBoot framework.

- Design, write, and maintain efficient, testable, and well-structured code based on modern design patterns.

- Collaborate across teams to drive the software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.

- Optimize and maintain CI/CD Git pipelines for smooth integration and deployment.

- Apply best practices to ensure quality and reliability in code and software delivery.

Required Qualifications:

- More than 5 years' experience with Java (from version 11), Microservices, TDD, AWS and Docker.

- Proven experience in Java application development with a focus on scalability and security.

- Experience working with the SpringBoot framework.

- Strong skills in creating well-designed, testable, and efficient code.

- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Git pipelines.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

- Knowledge of serverless technology and infrastructure as code principles.
