Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in empowering the AI team to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications at scale in a fast, secure, and reliable way. These applications are intended to serve multiple teams and drive business value across various domains. You will be part of a newly formed global AI team, with the unique opportunity to shape it from the ground up by applying foundational knowledge and best practices. You will work closely with experienced software developers, tech leads, DevOps professionals, MLOps specialists, and data experts.

Must-Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in programming and creating solutions with Python. At least 5 years of experience
• Foundational knowledge of software architecture, principles and best practices
• Several years of experience in full-stack software development, working on complex, long-term projects from start to finish. Focus on creating scalable, modular, and easy-to-maintain software architectures
• Strong knowledge of database design and management, including both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience in creating and integrating RESTful APIs
• Understanding of API security, authentication, and versioning
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in using cloud services, preferably AWS
• Experience in establishing and promoting best practices in software engineering, such as code reviews, automated testing, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and mentoring skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Would be great if you have:

• K nowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Previous experience in building AI-based applications
• Experience with services such as API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB and related ones is highly valued
• Experience with AI/ML services (eg. OpenAI, SageMaker, Synapse), containerization, CI/CD and infrastructure as code are nice to have
