Translator / PRO

The Joaan Bin Jassim Joint Command and Staff College (JBJJCSC), located in Doha, Qatar, will provide outstanding education and training to senior military officers. The JBJJCSC education and training programmes will be delivered in English, up to and including Masters level.

The college has a new vacancy for the position of Translator / Public Relations Officer providing a high level Administrative, Translation, and Public Relations Service to JBJJCSC project and other Serco projects in Qatar.

This person will be responsible for facilitating and concluding all applications, licenses, and required permissions between the company and the relative external departments and agencies (Government and Private Sector). The position will also include processing all visas and managing attestations, managing company registrations and renewals, and producing all necessary paperwork to help the college run smoothly.

The new postholder will also be expected to provide a translation service for all necessary documents and contracts and prepare necessary documents in Arabic or English. Language Requirements: Arabic - Fluent / Excellent English - Fluent / Excellent Job Skills

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level and able to communicate at all levels in English and Arabic, through reading, writing, and speaking. They should have a number of years' experience in a similar role in a multi-cultural environment and should have a valid Qatari Drivers' license.
