Job Description - Cost Accounting

Responsibilities 

  • Analyze production costs and prepare cost estimates for new products.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard
    costs to actual production costs.
  • Work closely with finance team to ensure accurate recording of costs and expenses.
  • Maintain documentation of cost accounting policies and procedures.

    • Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in cost accounting field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Having a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) can be advantageous.
