Report to the OCC Supervisor to execute daily activities, oversee operational control of all THC flights, prioritize safety, and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Authorize, regulate, and control THC flights in accordance with civil aviation authority and company regulations to ensure safety and efficiency. Report unsafe conditions to the Director of Operations (DFO) that may threaten aircraft or passenger safety, including flight delays or cancellations. Perform daily flight operations focusing on economics, passenger service, and operational control. Ensure flights are completed safely, considering aircraft type, flight distance, maintenance limitations (MEL), weather, and fuel requirements as per the Operation Manual (OM). Check aircraft readiness, including serviceability, refueling status, configuration, and crew duty limitations. Analyze meteorological data to identify hazards and select optimal routes for safety and economy. Prepare flight plans with details such as maximum take-off and landing weights, weather, NOTAMS, and other operational data. Complete and ensure compliance with the Flight Release Form and internal policies. Inform pilots of significant weather or flight plan changes and suggest alternate routes or procedures as needed. Coordinate with ATC for aircraft movements and validate flight plans. Schedule and update flights in the CAMP system and brief crew accordingly. Log flight data, follow up with PIC for flight release, weight, and balance documentation, and maintain records in OCC. Implement emergency procedures outlined in the Operation Manual (OM) and Emergency Response Plan (ERP), including diverting flights if necessary. Arrange ground handling, fueling, landing, and overflight permits as required. Obtain ADNC for each flight landing within the kingdom, excluding specified airports. Coordinate logistic support services such as hotel, transportation, and travel tickets, and notify relevant personnel. Monitor and update crew and aircraft documents, ensuring expiry dates are recorded in the CAMP system. Provide comprehensive handovers, including ongoing and pending tasks, to the next shift. Prepare operational reports and verify invoices related to logistics and flight support. Perform additional tasks assigned by superiors within their capacity and related to operations. Experience & Skills
0-2 years of experience as a Dispatcher. Ability to work under pressure, especially in adverse weather conditions. Decisiveness in making rapid safety, regulation, and operational decisions. Proficiency with computer systems, weather charts, calculators, and loading reports. Strong analytical skills for interpreting information and applying it to flight planning. Ability to work collaboratively with dispatchers, pilots, and air traffic controllers. Excellent communication skills for clear and effective interaction.
