Careers at HILADT ARCHITECTS LLP

The firm was first established in 1999 as HIL Architects (with association to Twinwood Designs). It was renamed HILADT Architects LLP in 2005. The principal partners are Lim Hseng Iu and Raymond Sim. With the partners’ combined experience of almost 50 years, the firm has built up a strong reputation over the years for its ‘Boutique Architecture’ – conceptualizing innovative customized design solutions through working closely with our clients, understanding their needs and translating them. Over the years, the firm and its designs have received a fair amount of recognition, having been published in the Singapore Architect, newspapers such as Straits Times and Shin Min, magazines such as Home Concepts and FRV (Fine Restaurants & Villas), and on television. In 2013, the firm decided to try its hand in participating in design competitions. Its first entry, in the Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre open design competition, secured it a 3rd position out of 32 entries. Its second entry, for the Archifest Pavilion design competition, was placed runners-up. Most recently in 2016, it entered the Red Cross House design competition where it was a finalist.
