Established in 1998, Pro-tec Security Services is a security management firm. With over 15 years of experience, we work with some of the best known and leading investment banks as well as multinationals organisations.



Pro-tec Security Services is solely owned and managed by Billy Hui who is an ex-Deputy Superintendent of Police. He completed his national service as a commissioned officer with the Singapore Armored Regiment in 1978 before joining the Singapore Police Force as a direct-entry Inspector in 1979. He has served diligently with the Singapore Police Force for 18 years before venturing into the private sector in June 1997. He spent the last 10 years of his service with the elite Police Security Branch (now renamed as Police Security Command) which is responsible for the safety and security of all full Cabinet Ministers including Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, and visiting foreign dignitaries.  His last post was Deputy Commander of Police Security Branch and was also Principal Security Officer to Minister Mentor Lee.



Billy Hui received extensive training and experience in the fields of Protective Security Operations, Counter-terrorism, Crisis Management & Contingency Planning, Risk Assessment, Firearms and Explosive Training, Defensive Security Driving, Defensive Search Operations and Investigative Procedures.  Over the years through his extensive worldwide travelling, he has established a wide network of local and international contacts in both government and business circles through high level liaisons and training exchange programs.
