Job Description - Accounts Assistant

Daily Carry out bank reconciliation promptly. Complete checking and updating Bank recon items not in QB for OCBC US$ and S$ Account
Daily Update DBS bank account transactions so that the DBS Bank St agree to QB
Check transactions, update customer payments.
Ensure all Payment Providers are reconciled and Settlement updated correctly.
Update DBS Bank account balance in QB to tie into Bank Statement
Process all payments promptly ensuring correct account coding, supporting documentation, and good documentation
Ensure all email action items are actioned promptly
Check CK Tang paid to the outstanding balance
Follow up on debtors owing. Issue Statements of Account, ensure collection of debts more than one month
File all documents promptly
Reconcile Point of sale transactions and petty cash daily.
Check invoices are all correct and GST assigned correctly
Prepare data for GST and account closing
Carry out ad hoc work as and when assigned
