Job Description

As a CFO, you are an integral member of the senior leadership team, collaborating with senior business leaders and providing financial advice in support of strategic decision making and business performance to achieve the Group’s successful IPO process. Participating in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution, you will be a trusted and strategic business advisor to the Group CEO and wider group. You will work in partnership with various stakeholders to propel the organization towards IPO and beyond, through a combination of financial, business, and digital acumen, while delivering on the core mandate to provide sound financial reporting. You will champion objective and insightful analysis on the Group’s key drivers, holding business owners accountable and working alongside them to identify opportunities for further success.


Finance and Financial Planning

a. Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans

b. Oversee long-term budgetary planning and costs management in alignment with company’s needs and goals

c. Measure and analyse financial results, initiate corrective actions, and develop recommendations

d. Develop and maintain capital budget


e. Responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and regulatory compliance, including consolidation, financial and cost control, inventory control, credit management, tax planning, treasury, risk management, budgeting, internal controls, and corporate governance compliance

f. Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocations.

g. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems.

Policy and investor relations

h. Prepare board meetings as well as oversee investor relations in partnership with the Group CEO

i. Participate in corporate policy development

j. Manage and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as investors, bankers, and government agencies


• CPA qualified with minimum 15 years’ experience out of which at least 5 years in similar capacity

• Exposure in working towards a successful IPO

• Excellent business acumen, analytical, presentation and management skills

• Dynamic, have an entrepreneur flair, independent and have an excellent track record of success

• Adaptable to a diversified culture and able to build key relationship with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
