MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administer SIET Study Loan Scheme (Officer In Charge )
- Responding to phone, email and walk-in queries
- Review of student applications, ensuring the applicants meet the eligibility criteria
- Laising with students and facilitating assessment interviews
- Corresponding with Management on Study loan outcome and preparation of documents
- Finances for study loan approved
a. Disbursements
b. Repayments
c. Tracking and follow up
d. Needs assessment
- Case Management (Updating student files with correspondence and statement of accounts for each student)
- Preparing relevant case report
- Working with various non-profit organizations, FSCs and institutions
- Conduct house visits if necessary
2. Routine work/ad-hoc duties
- Assist with queries related to the financial assistance schemes offered by the Trust
- Assist with preparation of accounts and work closely with the bookkeeper on:
a. Study loan accounts
b. Donation accounts
c. Reconciling SIET accounts
d. Ensure that the petty cash books are properly maintained
- Liaising on all IT related matters in the office or with systems
- Banking and postal work
- Provide administrative support for preparation of Management Council meetings
3. Implementation of SIET Client Relationship Management (CRM) System
- Work closely with SIET IT Subcommittee and vendor from conceptualization to operations workflow
- Conduct meetings, conference calls for system related matters
- Troubleshoot issues on CRM experienced by users in consultation with the vendor
4. SIET Social Media and Communications
- To work closely with Virtual Assistant from a host company to update content on SIET website and other Social Media platforms such as Facebook (develop weekly content), LinkedIn etc.
5. Event responsibilities:
SIET Charity Events/ AGM
- Registration of participants
- Logistics, presentation and accounts for events
6. External Audit
- Provide support and handle all the queries related to loan matters as raised by the external auditors of the trust on an annual basis.
Requirements:
• A degree holder or a professional with at least 5 to 6 years’ experience
• Efficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Well-developed IT skills and proficient in Microsoft office 365 programmes such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc
• People oriented & Self motivated
• Proactive & Responsible
