Resident Architect

·       Work closely and supervise the Resident Technical Officer on architectural works.

·       Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the design intent, specifications, and quality of works as specified in the terms of the contract and are in accordance with the Authority’s and/or Agencies' requirements.

·       Ensure timely clearing of submission of shop drawings, technical submittals and material samples including the civil & structural and coordinated combined services model (CCSM) by the contractors and assist to review them to ensure compliance with the design intent and specifications.

·       Raise Request for Variation Order or In-Principle Approval to Client immediately upon the occurrence of the change.

·       Coordinate with Project Manager (PMgr) on daily updates and weekly reports on the work progress and issues on site, including necessary checklist and documentation.

·       Maintain proper records of all site files on project correspondences, documents and drawings for easy retrieval and reference.

·       Prepare and update the list of outstanding / non-compliance works for submission to the Architect / Management for discussion during site meetings on regular basis.

·       Work closely with the Entire Site team including the Resident Engineer (RE) on the day-to-day site operations.

·       Attend all coordination meetings, take notes and maintain the records of such meetings and report weekly.

Minimum 8years of architectural experience with Degree in relevant field, and at least 5years of experience in construction supervision for projects of similar scaleand complexity in local context.

The Resident Architect shall be full time atsite, not less than 6 months before BSC and until CWW is obtained.
