The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and regulatory requirements. The role involves leading site teams, coordinating project activities, managing resources, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Operations Management
Oversee daily site activities and ensure smooth project execution.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor project schedules to meet deadlines.
Ensure projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Allocate manpower and resources effectively to achieve project objectives.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to site teams.
3. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities on project matters.
Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress.
Address and resolve site-related issues promptly.
4. Safety, Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
Conduct site inspections and enforce safety procedures.
Ensure all works meet quality standards and client requirements.
5. Resource & Cost Management
Monitor project budgets, material usage, and manpower costs.
Coordinate procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, and tools.
Identify and implement cost-effective solutions where appropriate.
6.Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and submit project progress reports to management and clients.
Maintain site records, permits, inspection reports, and project documentation.
Ensure proper documentation of project changes and variations.
7. Problem Solving & Risk Management
Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Resolve technical, operational, and manpower-related issues.
Take proactive measures to minimize project delays and disruptions.
