Formulate and execute business development activities among existing and new customer base of TVH in Singapore market. Reports to the Singapore branch manager and work together with a team of internal sales to achieve ambitious annual sales targets.
- Develop business opportunities with existing customers or new customers.
- 70-80% on the road to visit existing customers or seek new customers
- Work as a team together with internal sales and branch manager to achieve sales target
- Regular creation of qualitative visit reports with effective follow ups
- Retrieval of sales data from system and analyse sales trends
- Formulate short term and long term strategies to realise ambitious sales targets
- Assist customers on claims and complaints
- Follow up on outstanding payments when necessary
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in commercial sales or business development in an MNC environment.
- Sales or business development experience in spare parts of automotive or industrial equipment like Port Equipment, Aerial Work Platforms and Small Earth Moving Equipment would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport with customers and gather market information
- Self-disciplined, able to meet ambitious customer visit targets and submit reports on time
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with ability to formulate sales and business development strategies
- Good track records of achieving sales targets or KPIs
