Educational Psychologist (Early Childhood) - WC2

Job Description:

• Conduct assessments to identify the learning and developmental needs of children.
• Administer, score, and interpret specialized psychological assessments.
• Develop intervention goals and plans to address the child’s learning and developmental needs.
• Document assessment results and intervention outcomes in Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) and End-of-Intervention (EOI) reports.
• Create, implement, and monitor personalized intervention strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to Learning Support Educators (LSEds) and preschool teachers in applying personalized strategies to assist children.
• Offer advice to parents and caregivers on how to use personalized strategies to support their child's development.
• Train or co-train Learning Support Educators, preschool teachers, and parents/caregivers on specific behavioral strategies and techniques.
• Identify training and support needs and lead the development of in-house early intervention resources for preschool teachers and parents/caregivers.
• Monitor and track key clinical performance indicators, such as progress toward IEP goals and evaluations.
• Design and carry out research or quality improvement projects.
• Lead or co-lead special projects to enhance the inclusion of children with learning and developmental needs.
• Perform any other executive tasks assigned by management

Requirement:

• A Master's degree in Applied Psychology or Educational Psychology.
• Full registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
• A minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience, ideally with prior experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Preferred experience in assessment and working with preschool children or children with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities).
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team.
