Job description

• Adapting daily routines to meet the interest and needs of the individual child and the group.
• Developing activities that promote literacy and math concepts, and other mandatory domains according to ECDA requirements.
• Observing and documenting children’s daily progress in their portfolio.
• Ensuring that the facility and all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and safe for the children.
• Establishing policies and procedures, including positive reinforcement techniques.
• Participating in on-going in-service and education development opportunities.
• Participating in the ongoing development and evaluation of the program’s goals and objectives.
• Planning and implementing activities that meet the physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of their students.
• Communicating with parents with regards to children development.

Job Requirement

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level - at least C6 in English
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in preschool or student care settings
• Applicants who possess a Certificate in WSQ Student Care and WSQ Student Care (Early Years) is an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Possess good classroom management skills
• Possess Child First Aid Certificate
