Job Summary

Support the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of network infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations. Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting, optimization, and security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and maintaining network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitor network performance and report issues or anomalies
• Support troubleshooting of network connectivity and performance problems
• Help maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configurations
• Assist in implementing basic network security measures (e.g., firewall rules, access controls)
• Perform routine checks, upgrades, and maintenance tasks on network systems
• Support incident response efforts by collecting logs and helping with initial analysis
• Work with senior engineers to implement network improvements and upgrades
• Assist in configuring load balancers and managing traffic flow under guidance
• Follow established procedures and best practices for network operations
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve user and system network-related issues

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• 0–2 years of networking experience (internship or project experience is acceptable)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
• Familiarity with Cisco or similar networking technologies is a plus
• Basic knowledge of network security concepts (firewalls, VPNs)
• Willingness to learn SDN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Entry-level certifications such as CCNA are a plus
