Process Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Jurong Island (Company transport provided)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: Up to $4,500

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support chemical manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on process safety, quality systems, and operational improvement. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production activities while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily chemical manufacturing operations to ensure stable and efficient production processes
• Lead and participate in risk assessments and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities to enhance process safety and reliability
• Monitor process performance and identify opportunities for improvement in yield, efficiency, and safety
• Work closely with production, maintenance, and EHS teams to resolve operational and technical issues
• Ensure compliance with established quality and safety management systems
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to operational excellence
• Analyse process data to support troubleshooting and optimisation efforts
• Contribute to incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions when required

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in chemical manufacturing or process industry
• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001) is required
• Experience in risk assessment, FMEA, or process safety management will be an advantage
