Program Engineer

Basic information: 

• Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Basic UP $6000
• Location: Changi North
• Bonuses provided

Job Scope:

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for precision engineering programs
• Collaborate with NPI, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are achieved
• Monitor project progress and resolve technical, operational, and logistical issues in a timely manner
• Provide technical expertise in precision engineering processes, including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology
• Oversee prototype development and ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical evaluations for precision-engineered components and systems
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and tight tolerance requirements
• Coordinate testing, validation, inspection, and qualification activities for components and assemblies
• Serve as the main liaison between clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on project and technical matters
• Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, documentation, and risk assessments to stakeholders

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of experience in program or project engineering within precision engineering or manufacturing industries
• Strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes, materials, and engineering principles
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities
• Strong project management skills, including proficiency in tools such as MS Project
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and high-precision measurement tools (advantageous)
• Proficiency in engineering software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD (advantageous)
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100
• Experience managing customer relationships across sectors such as semiconductor, aerospace, medical devices, and analytical life sciences
