Field Services Team Lead

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Manage and execute deployment of IoT (Internet of Things) devices developed by our company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform installation work for above-mentioned devices on platforms such as vehicles, lifts, containers, etc.

2. Plan or re-plan, monitor, or report status on installation or deployment works in a way that maximizes company productivity and customer’s satisfaction.

3. Train other Field Services Engineer or installers on-the-job.

4. Assist installers with troubleshooting.

5. Respond to service calls by customers regarding malfunctioning devices.

6. Perform device testing, firmware update, system provision and onsite installation/ de-installation/troubleshooting of devices/system independently.

7. Perform proper handover or takeover process (from/to customer) with field service documentation for tracking and billing.

8. Support Project Manager with project preparation, testing, production, and implementation.

9. Execute tasks assigned by Project Manager independently.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

1. Formal studies in electrical installations at diploma level or higher.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

1. At least 2 years relevant experience, particularly in the area of Field Engineering, IoT device installations, or troubleshooting.

2. (Preferable) Reasonable knowledge of lift (elevator), vehicle (truck or cars) operations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

1. Installing electrical devices and associated wiring.

2. Physically fit as location of work is at the top of lift (elevator), vehicles, or other platforms.

3. Familiar with using mobile apps and computers.
