Retail Associate Executive

Our client is seeking trainee or experienced Cheesemongers for a new speciality Cheese Shop in Clementi. This is an opportunity to learn the art and craft of cheese from established international experts. You will be taught about cheese from an International Cheese Master, and how to recommend and prepare it professionally. You will also acquire valuable food knowledge and gain confidence in this increasingly internationally relevant profession. We are serious and passionate about what we do but we also seek to have a happy, proactive, and positive environment. This role involves the handling and preparation of food and beverages and requires you to have consistent and daily interaction with customers. Responsibilities

- Cut, wrap, shred and package all types of cheeses for presentation and sale on the cheese platters and orders.

- Receive and process online orders, prepare and package for collection by our delivery partners

- Excellent organization and planning skills

- Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled timely

- Ensure the cheese preparation areas are cleaned and sanitized daily and meet the company standards for appearance

- Be responsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the various products

- Confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to advertised items

- Support the development and selection of new products. Able and willing to work weekends, evening, and Public Holidays

Requirements

- Should have a passion for cooking with and eating cheese items

- Must have the ability and willingness to learn about cheese, pairings, cheese preparation and cooking techniques - Ability to interpret policies and procedures, and ensure full compliance with relevant regulations

- Must have the relevant Food Hygiene Courses and be assessed as competent
