Retail Manager

You are responsible for smooth and optimal operations in the Retail Outlet Team in the fulfilment of the team's goals and targets as well as The Bettr Group’s vision and mission. You are accountable for the overall operational performance of the Retail team, and are expected to work closely with the rest of the Retail outlet Management team to assess the business and creating meaningful plans to drive results.

Scope of Work

• Grow and champion Bettr’s culture, values and vision with integrity and knowledge

• Team annual planning and inter-bubble collaboration

• Work closely with senior management to develop team’s vision and strategies for the year, in support of overall organisation’s visions and strategies

• Work closely with other teams to ensure optimal utilisation of organisations’ resource, brand adherence and to achieve organisational wide goals

• Work closely with Business Development/Sales/Marcomms teams to design and ensure successful implementation of campaigns to achieve sales targets

• Work closely with Social to ensure that the team remains true to our social core and provide support to meeting social KPIs

• Identify strategies to retain and attract customers

• Drive a high level of customer service across the outlets as well as resolving customer complaints

• R&D and menu development to keep menu fresh and on concept

• Identify, set, fulfil, track and report relevant KPIs (eg: financials, customer service levels, etc)

• Oversee supervisors in preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence in order to ensure optimal manpower deployment

• Review, design and monitor systems and process to ensure smooth and optimal operations of all the outlets and that all quality and safety standards are met

• Ensure that SOPs are properly documented, implemented and followed / develop systems to train, implement and report performance

• Designing, implementing and monitoring effective inventory management systems

• P&L Management - ensuring that all expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs.

• Stakeholder management - ensuring good relationships with relevant stakeholders like landlords, partners, facility managers etc

• Vendor sourcing & management - source new vendors and maintaining a good relationship with all vendors

• Lead, supervise and manage team - planning team's manpower needs and future planning. Includes ensuring that staff are motivated, properly trained, overseeing staff development roadmap and future planning, reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed, implement and follow through with consequences on misbehaviour & misconduct
