Maintenance Staff

Job Functions & Summary:

Assist the maintenance team in carrying preventive and breakdown maintenance for facility maintenance services.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle daily rectification and repair work in the facility such as leak, choke, lightings issue, air condition, Audio Visual and sound system, kitchen equipment, painting, etc.
• Respond to service call form other department personnel relating to maintenance issue to ensure prompt action and trouble shoot breakdowns and defects.
• Work closely with contractors to manage day to day operations.
• Ensure all facilities maintenance works are carried out with the least disruption to the business operations with appropriate with appropriate safety measures.
• Understand and abide to risk assessments.
• Maintain and ensure minimum supplies of technical equipment for prompt service delivery at all times.
• Keeping a record of all the day to day maintenance and service activities taken in the facility.
• Respond to all fire safety and emergency situations.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement

• Nitec in Building Services Technology, Facility Maintenance, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year related working experience with exposure to hotels / hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude towards fostering teamwork among associates in support role.
• Ability to embraces strong cultural diversity, work in multi-ethnic teams.
