Clinic Assistant

Job Description

  • Deliver excellent, warm and efficient customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patients and guests;
  • Manage and assist front counter work including but not limited to scheduling appointments, registration of patients, temperature measurement, handling enquiries phone answering and dispensing drugs;
  • Handle feedback email enquiries, text enquiries messages and communication issues via phone and email promptly in a polite and warm manner;
  • Provide administrative support including process invoice and payment collection and insurance claim forms;
  • Check monthly payment advice from Lab Company against Plato system for any discrepancy before accounts make payment;
  • Perform health check-ups – (PEE, WPA, WPR, SPass etc) Visual Acuity (near / far testing, colour vision), weight and height measurement, blood pressure measurement, urine test (Combur 3 / 5, urine pregnancy test;
  • Prepare complete health check-up forms for respective HR personnel collection /mail out to respective Companies
  • Submission of insurance / direct to corporate claims / Government portal claims;
  • Scan relevant medical documents into the respective patient profile in Plato;
  • Prepare specimen collection containers & test request forms for blood tests (Innovative Lab Tests, Quest Lab Test, WS Tech etc)
  • Inform patients for review / collection of blood test report / x-ray results via Whatsapp / SMS / Call;
  • Manning TC’s & Hana business mobile phone;
  • Key in word report/result of patients into the patient’s profile in Plato when required by doctors (TCMP 14 result, Ultrasound word report etc);
  • Prepare patients report and/or review for Doctors;
  • Assist Doctors in basic medical care if required;
  • Open to doing therapist work i.e applying numbing cream, etc;
  • Any other related jobs assigned;


  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English. Ability to converse in Mandarin, Korean and Bahasa, it will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure/stress
  • Possesses excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Team Player
  • Computer skills; Plato software an advantage
  • Organise and schedule appointments properly


  • Higher Secondary/Pre-U/'A' Level, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
  • Min 2 years’ experience in the Clinic
