Phlebotomist

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for the skilful, timely and accurate collection of blood specimens from patients as requested by the clinician using any of the appropriate techniques: Venipuncture, Capillary collection – fingerstick or heelstick and Blood culture specimen collection
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of breath sample for the Urea Breath Test.
• Acquire knowledge and skills on Laboratory Information System and required IT systems.
• Assist in managing and inventorize supplies in the laboratory.
• Rotate duties between Hospitals as determined by Manager.
• Work alongside laboratory manager and colleagues to achieve total quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain tidiness of workplace.
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.

Requirements:

• Possess certificate in phlebotomy/ nursing.
• Working experience as Phlebotomist preferred
