TCM Physician

We are a clinic based in Telok Blangah with 16 years of history. The name of our clinic is Yong Kang Medical Hall and the founding Physician is Dr. Ong Swee Ling. Our practice specializes in care for eczema, psoriasis, hives, shingles, acne, pimples, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis and hair loss.

We are looking for a kind and compassionate Physician to provide primary care for patients suffering from injuries and illnesses. The Physician should be knowledgeable, detail oriented, and have good problem-solving skills. The Physician may work in one or more areas of specialization, such as Skin conditions (Eczema, Atopic Dermatitis, Psoriasis), Physical ailments (Chronic Neck and back pain), Fertility, Pediatric and General Medicine. Salary will commensurate with industry experience.

The Physician’s Responsibilities include the following (but not limited to):

• Provide TCM medical consultation and advice to patients.

• Diagnosing injuries, illnesses, and disorders.

• Treating patients using TCM methods such as acupuncture and moxibustion.

• Prescribe the appropriate medicine to patients.

• Counseling patients on diet, hygiene, preventative healthcare, and other lifestyle changes.

• Updating patients' charts and information to reflect current findings and treatments.

• Consulting with other physicians, referring patients to specialists when necessary, and working with other healthcare staff, such as nurses, assistants, and other physicians.

Physicians applying for this role should have the following Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience

• Minimum of an accredited Diploma and the successful completion of a residency and internship.

• TCM Practitioner registered with TCMPB

• Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses.

• Ability to converse in both Chinese and English is highly desired

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
