Logistics Assistant

Main Purpose of the Role

• To assist and support team leader, supervisor, operation executive and management in their daily work activities

Key Priorities & Challenges   

• Perform all duties assigned by the supervisor or operation executive and complete within timeline with 100% efficiency & accuracy

Key Responsibilities

• Perform warehousing, logistics functions such as Receiving, Put-away, Storage, Picking, Marshalling.
• Perform housekeeping tasks.
• Conduct physical counts.
• Practice safe work procedures, identify potential hazards.
• Handle stocks & equipment with care.

Key Requirements

• Certificate or equivalent in Logistics or related fields.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in warehousing, logistics environment.
• A pro-active team player with hands-on approach and positive mindset.
• Experience in using warehousing management system, RF, Voice-Pick devices.
• Be physically fit, as will be required to carry heavy loads i.e. 10 kg pack of rice
• Possess forklift license
