Job Summary: 
The Operations Assistant will assist with the preparation of import and export documents in compliance with customs and government regulations and ensure smooth and timely shipment delivery.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare and handle all shipping documents, custom declaration and permit for import and export, including data compilation for invoices.
Ensure relevant shipping documents are ready to deliver to respective parties.
Liaise with customers to ensure smooth and timely shipment delivery.
Ensure relevant supporting certificates are ready prior to shipment.
Coordinate with freight forwarders to schedule booking, transport and shipping documentation arrangements.
Provide daily customer service to customers or distributors on order follow up and shipping information.
Perform data entry for freight services.
Follow operational policies, standards and procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Good verbal and written communication skills. 
Preferably with knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
"O" Level or higher.
Preferably with relevant prior experience.
