Report to: Management Team

Location: Singapore Jurong

Products: Fast Moving Consumer Products


· Developing a warehouse & logistics strategic operational plan and defining the organizational structure including roles and responsibilities to support divisional goals

· To ensure that the company has the appropriate resources to support current business and projected growth to communicate resource plans to gain consensus from Sales & marketing, Purchasing that respond to current and expanding markets

· To optimize operations performance, decrease process and logistics cost, minimize inventory, streamline order fulfilment



· Defining and streamlining the planning methodology based on sales demand resulting in reduction of overall operation cost

· Controlling and monitoring the throughput cost, which helps in reducing the Inventory carrying cost

· Consolidation of warehouses as per the business requirement. This ultimately helps in reduction of warehousing storage, throughput & facility cost


· Warehouse Management and Logistics Management

· Handling warehousing and Inbound & Outbound logistics. Ensure, minimal turnaround time

· Administering the activities, product procurement, traditional purchasing, inventory planning, inventory control, logistics and distribution to ensure customer orders are timely fulfilled and inventory goals are met

· Leading the S&OP process as well as cross functional team for their service need & to set process improvement initiatives

· Responsible for the optimum use of storage space and store layout in the warehouse and for customers’ stock inventory records to be kept accurate and up-to-date

· Conduct relevant operations audit & execute changes, strive for continuous improvement towards Operations Excellence

· Provide monthly management reports on overall performance against agreed objectives in the areas of warehouse utilization, stock movements of customers and other matters relating to warehousing and distribution

Transportation management

· Responsible for the coordination of all warehousing and distribution functions, including inventory, physical distribution, maintenance, record-keeping, traffic scheduling, etc.

· Strategizing the mode of transportation and aligning SLA for efficient deliveries, as per sales business requirement

· Review and implement system for non-compliance's

· Developing a smooth functioning of return goods operations as per stipulated policy

· Managing and leading the team giving support functions like SO Making, invoicing, logistics, warehousing Operations, packing, dispatches, transportation etc. Framing Policies and SOP for smoother operations

People Development

· Develop Talent within the team by providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets and take leadership position

· To motivate the team to deliver more than their belief

· Find skill gaps and training needs for team members

· Leadership and development of the Supply Chain planning function

· Leads the Supply Chain Optimization Initiative


· Communicating with external & internal customers regarding delivery and scheduling issues through the supply chain team

· Evaluate and monitor customer complaints & review the feedback of all concern and take corrective steps

· Working closely with other functions to drive overall supply chain efficiency, while working with sales functions to drive overall customer satisfaction in a cost-efficient manner


· > 15 years’ experience in end to end warehouse, logistics, distribution, supply chain management with minimum 5 years in senior management

· University degree or MBA or Equivalent in Operational Management

· Someone from FMCG Distribution background

· Prior experience in managing Large Scale Warehouses, In-House Delivery Fleet to >300 Drop Points @channels like HORECA, Supermarkets, Coffee Shops, Food Courts, Hawker Centres, Education institution, Vending Machines & Convenience Stores etc.

· Proficiency in Warehouse Management / Logistics systems like SAP, ER, WMS, POS

· Sound in SCM Models, Financial understanding, Cost Management, IT, Operating processes etc.
