Production / Operations Executive

Job Description 

• Work closely with the factory manager in ensuring that all production processes are well executed in accordance with the factory’s SOPs and operational work flows
  
• Assist in ensuring that the factory is kept and maintained at the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
• Plan and forecast out the monthly production schedule based on the monthly projected output.
• Supervise and provide adequate training for newly-joined staff/worker as per factory’s SOP
• Conduct stock take
• Purchase all factory raw ingredients/equipment/indirect consumable items at the best competitive price. (Engage in price negotiations with suppliers and pro-actively seeking for cost saving initiatives)
• Ensure that all goods are delivered in a timely manner and in a good condition.
• Conduct preventive maintenance for all the factory equipment and facilities as per maintenance schedule
• Document all incoming and outgoing factory inventory items
• Responsible for R&D projects assigned. Define and understand project goals, assist in ideas and solutions, generate and implement experimental plans, sourcing, conduct trials & testing, data analysis, follow up projects progress, timeline and propose for next steps
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ Manufacturing Management or relevant disciplines
• At least 1-3 year(s) of experience in production department preferably in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production or food processing industry
• Able to work together and motivate while exercising good control over production team
• Must have a good working attitude, good safety and GMP compliance knowledge
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Pro-active and a team player
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledge in machineries maintenance will be a plus point
• Willing to work at Chin Bee
