Quality Control Assistant

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform Environmental Monitoring - in-line swabbing, ATP swabbing and lab analysis.
  • Prepare medium and apparatus for microbiological analysis (environmental monitoring).
  • Maintain good housekeeping, and upkeep safety and environmental protection in the laboratory.
  • Conduct stock checking for medium and apparatus in the laboratory weekly – to ensure the testing medium and apparatus is enough for all the times.
  • Provide assistance to request necessary documents, information and samples from suppliers for executive to conduct experimental analysis.
  • Provide assistance in requesting quotation, ordering and receiving of microbiological laboratory supplies.
  • Provide assistance in updating ISO/FSSC related standard operating procedures for audit.
  • Provide assistance in conducting microbiological analysis of finished goods, raw materials, shelf-life extension requests and validation for expired products (when needed).
  • Maintain proper documentations and records.
  • Assist in any Quality related tasks when required


  • Minimum Diploma in Food Science and Technology/Microbiology.
  • 1 year relevant experience in Food Industry.
  • Good attitude and good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to start within short notice / immediately.
