As a Clinical Coder, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Accurately abstract relevant data and translate the diagnosis and surgery/procedures of all inpatient and day surgery discharges.
• Work closely with clinicians on documentation of diagnosis and surgery/procedure/treatment if necessary that may affect coding accuracy and correct subvention. 
• Maintain consistency in coding by optimizing coding through output and quality coding. 
• Monitor un-coded discharges to achieve coding in time to meet subvention deadline.
• Manage and track daily coders workload report. 
• Participate in internal coding audit and review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma in Medical/Nursing/ Health Science or equivalent. 
• Possess knowledge of medical terminology/procedures.
