Job Description - Interior Design Draughtsman

Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects
Convert designers' concepts and sketches into accurate construction drawings
Produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings
Use CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other drafting tools
Ensure drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements
Coordinate with interior designers, architects, engineers, and contractors
Revise drawings based on design changes, client feedback, and site conditions
Prepare furniture layouts, ceiling plans, lighting plans, and material specifications
Assist in project documentation, submissions, and approvals
Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before drafting
Maintain organized drawing records and project documentation
Support project teams throughout the design and construction process
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software
Strong technical drawing and drafting skills
Good understanding of interior construction methods and materials
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Time management and ability to meet project deadlines
Problem-solving and spatial visualization skills
